Slumdog Millionaire actor dies at 53
The bollywood actor well known in Slumdog millionaire, Irrfan khan passes away.
Khan was known for his nuanced and understated performance, with many calling him one of India's most talented actors.
he was so highly respected to an extent where director Wes Anderson wrote him a part so he could work with him.
In 2018 the actor revealed he had an endocrine tumor, a rare cancer.
he later on underwent treatment in a London hospital for the illness, which affects cells that release hormones into the bloodstream.
As many actors and politicians rushed to pay tribute on social media like Amitabh Bachchan who wrote: " An incredible talent...a gracious colleague, a prolific contributor to the world of cinema. creating a huge Vacuum" 
" Irfan shone so bright that we all reflected in his glory. who will we  look to for such integrity again? the world is a lesser place now, thank you for having the courage to be yourself and unlocking worlds for us, Irrfan" actor Konkana Sensharma said
Two months after Irrfan went public with his disease, he wrote an open letter about his experience with the cancer treatment, reflecting on the intensity of life.
Four days earlier, Irrfan's 95-years old mother died in Jaipur but he couldn't attend the funeral because of India's national lockdown amid the outbreak of coronavirus.
