Six individuals injured in a shooting outside a performance theater in Oregon

Six people were injured in a gunshot outside a performance hall in Eugene, Oregon, on Friday night, according to authorities.

Around 9:30 p.m. Friday night, the Eugene Police Department received reports of many rounds fired outside WOW Hall, where rappers Lil Bean and Zay Bang were performing.

Chief Chris Skinner said at a press conference early Saturday that police don't know if the shooting was random or targeted.

Police are looking for a single suspect who was observed leaving in a hoodie following the gunshot.

Skinner described the incident as "one of the highest profile shootings we've had in the city of Eugene" and invited witnesses to contact police if they had any information or film of the event.

Skinner added that many law enforcement agencies, including Eugene Springfield Fire, responded to the incident.

All lessons at WOW Hall have been canceled till further notice, according to a statement on the music hall's website, adding that they think all employees and volunteers are safe and accounted for.
