Sir Frank williams dies at the age of 79

Today, Motorsport has lost one of the legendary people in the sport, Sir Frank Williams, a former Formula1 driver, mechanic, team orinciple, and the founder of  Williams racing team has died, aged 79

Sir williams has joined f1 world as a driver and a mechanic, later on he went on to build one of the well- known teams in f1 history, Williams Racing (1966).

In 2012, Sir williams announced that he will step back from the board of Williams racing, and would be replaced by his daughter Claire Williams, however he would remain with the team as team principle. In addition to that, Sir Williams ceased to have any part in the sale of Williams Racing in 2020.
